WHY THIS MISSION IS SO IMPORTANT!
1. Complex Trauma (CPTSD) is the Leading Cause of Suicide, Addiction and Homelessness.
2. Those suffering from Complex Trauma are often locked in a Sympathetic State which increases Oxidative Stress, diseases, health conditions, in addition to failure to function.
3. Personally knowing how difficult continuous trauma and debilitating symptoms can be exacerbated by the misperceptions and lack of compassion which can become too unbearable to even want to survive.
4. The flaws in our system are facilitating abusers, causing revictimization of victims, while creating an inability to escape the trauma.
5. These issues are creating the cycle of trauma that’s carried down from generating to generation.
6. Having lost multiple friends, and family members as a result of complex trauma issues, I personally know how devastating it can be!
7. Many are unaware of how difficult it is to thrive being paralyzed in trauma and how relative it is for our homeless population that need the proper assistance.
8. Many are unknowingly dealing with complex trauma issues but are being misdiagnosed and improperly medicated which often leads to prescription and or street drug addiction.
9. Awareness is needed to help prevent the many forms of abuse and trauma that many are often unaware of.
10. It’s time to turn my pain into purpose, since I know first-hand how society and lack of awareness exacerbates the issue while knowing the help needed to make a difference! To be the voice for those silently suffering knowing how important it is to be heard, validated and understood!
